Salute to you, Aaron Judge. Another $300 million contract in baseball? Actually, $360 million. I heard there have been 10 or 11, 300 million contracts handed out in the history of baseball. I don’t think there has ever been a 300 million contract in basketball or football. Maybe there will be someday but by then, baseball will be handing out 400 million dollar contracts.

Maybe I should have stuck with baseball when I was younger. At 5’6″, yeah that would have been smarter than trying to make it in football. But baseball is boring. You just sit there and wait, and wait, and wait, and sometimes wait some more. If you are watching your team on TV, it can be entertaining. But other than that, the game might be dull.
But that’s not the point. Three hundred and sixty freaking million! Keep on slugging. Alex Rodriguez was the first guy to get a $250 million contract, way in the 2000s. And then he received another one. I thought that was crazy. But hey, these guys train, diet, stay focused, travel city to city, produce crazy stats and entertain consistently. They deserve every penny that their agent can negotiate for them. Carry on and keep making that dough.
