Well the NBA is about 1/3 of the way done with it’s games for the year and we have a decent understanding of the good teams, the bad teams, the decent teams and the championship caliber teams. I tell you though. I don’t know who I dislike the most; Luka Doncic, Trae Young or Ja Morant. All of them are cocky AF and Luka and Trae are straight cry babies. That’s probably the older school in me hating on the youngins but hey, “it is what it is, until it ain’t”. But since we have some games on Christmas to enjoy, let’s briefly look at them.

Philly @ NY Knicks

Embiid defending Barrett

I am going to enjoy this one, maybe. Cant’ watch this and the Dolphins at the same time. I have a couple of home boys that are Knicks fans though, one from New Jersey and one from Queens, NY. They both read the NY tabloids and are influenced heavily by what’s written, even though it changes every two days. First they love Thibs. Then they want him fired. I don’t hear a peep out of them now. But lets get to the game. This is gonna be interesting. Both teams are on a roll and although I don’t think either has a chance at a championship as currently constructed, they both are playing good basketball. Bing Bong Brunson (RM, how was I suppose to know they called him this?) is the real deal for the Knicks. And we know Embiid is a monster. Julius Randle is playing well this year again. Let’s see how this one shakes out. By the way, I heard on the radio that Knicks fans want Spike Lee to stay away from the games. They say he’s JANKY.

LA Lakers @ Dallas

The Don and the King

Should be an easy win for Dallas. The Lakers are my team but they are lacking a lot of talent, especially with the ever brittle AD hurt again. Will Luka pass the damn ball before he dribbles 100 times and draws a double team. I mean I hate playing with guys like Luka at the gym man. I like movement and to handle the ball so when it comes my way, I can already be in a rhythm. But Luka is the Don and he is unstoppable. It is what it is, until it ain’t.

Milwaukee @ Boston

Giannis

Now this is gonna be another good one. Two east superpowers fighting it out. That new coach has these boys still playing well, even though they got tripped up on their West Coast trip last week against the Clippers and Warriors. The damn Lakers almost came back and beat them. As for the Bucks, will Jrue Holiday play? Can Giannis just shoot the damn ball at the free throw line, please? And will Middleton get his groove back?

Memphis @ Golden St.

Air Ja

Nothing to see here. Golden State gotta find some dogs that not only wanna play but also has some skills to get some buckets. Grizzlies blowout!

Phoenix @ Denver

Booker with the Roar

D. Book has been sitting out every game since he scored 50+ a week ago. The Suns need him back if they want to beat the Nuggets in Denver. Jokic is ballin, Jamal Murray is getting back to form and Michael Porter Jr. is always hurt. Still a fun team to watch though. And my boy KCPeeeeeee will be out there on the court too.

And what’s up with Brooklyn? I don’t know but they are playing good right now. Let’s see how long it is before Kyrie has his next epiphany or revelation. And that’s it people. Hopefully I can pump out a football article tonight too but we will see. Merry Christmas to you all.
